Feathers and Flight week 2023

Our Spring term theme week was full of birds! We had eggs hatching into chicks in the Reception classes, owls flying over our heads in assembly, some lovely hens visiting our grassy area and The Haringey Shed came in for bird themed performing arts workshops with every class.  Everyone was also busy producing amazing bird art in 2d and 3d for our gallery.

Art Club had a lot of fun listening to music while creating and sharing lots of giggles. As always, They made circle paintings on canvas panels, created hanging collage hearts, explored clay where they had the freedom to design whatever they wanted (some included pots & trays, cars, a skeleton puzzle, cake and even a pizza!) and they were even able to squeeze in a fun blow painting activity – not to mention a bit of free drawing & colouring along the way…

Year 1 Show

This year’s Year 1 performance was ‘Stick Man’. Everyone in Year 1 took part as actors, singers, dancers and musicians. They were fantastic!

Year 2 Great Fire of London

FIRE FIRE!

Year 2 rounded off their Great Fire of London History theme with a Great Fire workshop and performance. .They learned lots about historical facts and non-fiction texts.

Alien week 2022

An alien spaceship crash-landed at Rokesly. The amazing incident inspired incredible writing and artwork from the children, as well as investigations and research about space.

New Neon Rokesly Hoodies

New neon Rokesly hoodies are available to buy from the PSA. They look amazing and will help everyone to BE SEEN on the way to and from school – especially now the days are shorter!

Year 1 Buildings

This week, the children in Year 1 have been investigating and testing different construction kits.

The Mayor of Haringey visits Rokesly Infants

All the children got to meet The Mayor of Haringey, Councillor Adam Jogee. 

STEM week 2022

The children had an amazing week of Science in their GROWTH and CHANGE themed week of activities. We had a recycling focus from our Book Week favourite ‘CLEAN UP.. We enjoyed workshops and had visits from  Railway Fields Environment Centre, and our own amazing parent Science volunteers.
