Appeals

Rokesly is a very popular school and we often have more applications for places than we can accommodate. Unfortunately, this sometimes means that children who want to come to Rokesly cannot be offered a place.

If your child is not offered the reception school of your choice, you do have the right to appeal. Before starting the process you will need to think carefully about why you want to appeal and apply directly to Haringey’s Admission Service, 48 Station Road, Wood Green, London N22 7TY.

More detailed information regarding admissions and appeals can be found in Haringey’s primary education booklet, available from Haringey Admissions Service on 020 8489 1000 or on its website www.haringey.gov.uk/schooladmissions.

Meet Honey the Rokesly Infant and Nursery Therapy Dog

Here’s what parents have said about Honey:

‘My daughter absolutely adores Honey and is full of beans when she recounts spending any time with her at school. And I’m sure it’s not just her who benefits from seeing Honey – other children must also get a lot out of the experience, particularly those who may be anxious or have other needs.  Honey is a beautifully natured dog, so gentle and intuitive.’

‘I used to work on an oncology ward at Guys Hospital and remember the therapy dog there was amazing too – a real comfort for those who were highly anxious and who couldn’t convey their emotions and how scared they were.’

‘Both Honey and Gemma are a real asset to the school and I just wanted to voice my appreciation for them both – thank you!’
